Tuesday's quote

I'm going to start something. Tuesday's Quote. Hopefully I can keep up on it...
So for the first...

If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.

TAGGED

6 things about me. This should be good. Thanks Andrea!

1.) I have the strangest eating habits for a 23 year old. I'm a really picky eater. No really. Textures, flavors, you name it, I will probly have a problem with it. I'm hard to try new food too. I like cheese but it can't be melted. I like milk but it has to be skim and in cereal or with cookies or be chocolate milk. I like water but I can only drink it from a cup with ice. I like meat, but I'm picky when I eat it. It can't be wet like in soup or in a casserole or something. I can't eat it in chunks when it's cooked into something. I will even pick around in in spaghetti sauce. I won't eat eggs, I won't touch fish. EVER. When I have found something I will eat, I pick through it like a 2 year old. My friends have been known to tell me they love watching me eat just to see what I will do with my plate. I'm the baby, what do you expect?

2.) My family is like the Brady Bunch, no kidding, well minus the 3 girls 3 boys part. There's actually 5 girls and 1 boy. My mom had 3 kids, my dad had 3, they got married when I was 4, making our family a family of 8. There's Whitney, Tera, Josh, Jerry, Ashley, and me, all 8 years apart. Plus everyone is married but me. Lucky me!

3.) I have a weird thing for earlobes. When I was little, I was known for jumping up on people's laps (mostly guys, missionaries were my favorite) and rubbing their earlobes between my fingers. My dad will tell you one of the first things he remembers about me is playing with his earlobes. Even to this day when I'm snuggling with someone and I'm half awake, I will rub their earlobes without knowing I am even doing it.

4.) I was named after the Bionic Woman, Lindsay Wagner. My mom failed to tell me this up until a few years ago. I think it's the coolest thing I've ever heard of in my life. You can find her on the Sleep Number Bed commercials now. I wear the name proud.

5.) I don't have a guilt complex, I forgive too easy, and I get over things really quick. One thing I have learned: LIFE GOES ON...NO ONE IS GOING TO BE MAD EXCEPT FOR YOU!!!

6.) I hate talking on the phone. In fact, I try to avoid it altogether. I'm a texting whore. Don't get offended if I don't return your phone calls, I don't even check my voicemail for a week or so. I'm much better at answering texts.

Now that you know some dirt on me, I wanna know some about you! I tag Jamie Yetter, Katie Ernst, and whoever else wants to do it!!!

FOUND

My Secret Diary

I thought I had lost it or someone took it.
(I have an unhealthy phobia of people knowing what I think about. could this have ANYTHING to do with my 4 big sisters sisters reading my journals growing up?? I know, I need therapy. That's another post.)
About a month or so ago I noticed it was missing. Mind you I don't go ANYWHERE without it. If I do, I know EXACTLY where I left it as I write in it daily. I looked top to bottom, everywhere!! I couldn't find it! then yesterday as I was getting a water bottle from behind my seat of my truck, there it was! I seriously felt like I found a lost puppy or something! There it was, just waiting for me!

It's not really secrets, no names are named, no situations are mentioned, if anyone did read it they wouldn't have the slightest clue what I'm talking about and would probably think I really am crazy, it's just a collection of my thoughts. It's full of all kinds of emotions, things i'm passionate about, things I find humorous, things I think about, things that i feel are worth writing down. Sometimes just to get them off my mind. Sometimes I paste in pictures, song lyrics, quotes, just things that I want to remember. And I have it back!!

I spent a couple hours last night writing in it, I wrote 6 pages. I surprised myself, mostly because what was written wasn't about anything in particular, just thoughts. Thoughts to people, thoughts to myself. And I actually slept peacefully for the 1st time in months.

Cheers to my secret diary!

A few tattoos aren't going to keep me out of Heaven

Sweet half sleeve, right?? And can you believe it was only $15 (give or take a few quarters)?! I didn't really have time to throw something really cool together this year, but I did want to dress up, so I actually did my hair and makeup, put on a dress and heels, some fake eyelashes and went to the Mexican food place across the street and bought up some rub on tattoos!

Here's the thing: I love tattoos. I don't know where I get it from, but I do love them. I think sleeves are sweet, so what better day to do a "trial" sleeve than Halloween? It's addicting, and I want one for real.
